News PHOTO CALL: Red Bull's Duchess of Malfi Opens Off-Broadway Christina Rouner, Heidi Armbruster, Patrick Page, Gareth Saxe and the cast of The Red Bull Theater revival of John Webster’s The Duchess of Malfi celebrated their Feb. 27 Off-Broadway opening.

"A great romance turns to horror as the Duchess of Malfi seeks true love in a world of forbidden passions," according to press notes. "A play for our time as much as its own, John Webster’s The Duchess of Malfi examines sexual repression, honor, class, and the true value of the human spirit, in this explosive drama of Italian intrigue."

Red Bull artistic director Jesse Berger directs a cast that features Heidi Armbruster, Christina Rouner(Coram Boy), Patrick Page (A Man For All Seasons, The Grinch) and Gareth Saxe (The Homecoming), Jason C. Brown, Clark Carmichael (Jumpers), Keith Hamilton Cobb, Matthew Greer (Cabaret), Carol Halstead (Gore Vidal’s The Best Man), Eric Hoffmann, Matthew Rauch (Prelude to a Kiss) and Haynes Thigpen.
