News PHOTO CALL: Spinning Into Butter Cast Open Gilman Play OB July 26 Three of the stars of Spinning Into Butter, Hope Davis, Jai Rodriguez and Daniel Jenkins, celebrated the Rebecca Gilman play's opening July 26 at Lincoln Center's Mitzi Newhouse Theatre. Davis plays a new dean assigned to investigate an on campus incident involving an African American student and racist notes pinned to his door. Rodriguez plays a student, who seeks to be recognized as nuyorican, while Davis counsels him that only the label hispanic will get him scholarship money. Jenkins is Davis' collegue, a politically correct art teacher.
