Primary Stages presents the work by Lowe that links the lives of some two dozen women by the necklace of the piece's title. The tales between wife and husband, mother and daughter, friends, sisters and more weave a journey through love, loss, desire and destiny. Eric Simonson directs the work, which runs through Oct. 24 at the company's new home at 59 East Lexington Avenue.

At left castmembers Mary Testa, Ellen McLaughlin, Antoinette LaVecchia and Sharon Washington are seen above artistic director Andrew Leynse and playwright Lowe at the opening night party, held at Opia on East 57th Street in New York City.
