News PHOTO CALL: Thoroughly Modern Millie, with Davi and Williamson, in Sacramento Sacramento's Music Circus season kicked off July 7 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion with Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Mara Davi stars in the title role of Millie Dillmount. Davi originated the role of Maggie in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line and replaced original Millie star Sutton Foster in Broadway's The Drowsy Chaperone. Other credits include the world premiere of Dancing in the Dark at the Old Globe Theatre and the title role in the City Center Encores! production of No, No, Nanette.

Directed by Glenn Casale and choreographed by John MacInnis, the cast also features Drama Desk nominee Ruth Williamson as Mrs. Meers, Robert Townsend as Trevor Graydon, Matt Loehr as Jimmy Smith, Megan McGinnis as Miss Dorothy Brown, Billy Bustamente as Ching Ho, Reggie De Leon as Bun Foo, Diane Vincent as Miss Flannery and Karole Foreman as Muzzy Van Hossmere.

Merrill West, Miki Berg, Abbie Cooper, Kurt Domoney, Garett Hawe, Kristen J. Smith, Robin Masella, Courtenay Krieger, Danny Gardner, Neil Totton, Drew Franklin and Kevin Loreque round out the ensemble.

The Music Circus season will also include productions of Altar Boyz (July 14-19), Guys and Dolls (July 21-26), Into the Woods (July 28-Aug. 2), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Aug. 4-9), Man of La Mancha (Aug. 11-16) and Cats (Aug. 18-30).
