It was a Wild Party at the June 16th opening of the Paper Mill Playhouse's revival of Stephen Schwartz' Pippin. Former Partyers Marc Kudisch and Norm Lewis attended the musical, seen here with Sara Ramirez (Barrio Babies, The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm) and Lewis' girlfriend, Pippin cast member Amy Heggins.
The 1973 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, Pippin concerns the adventures of one of Charlemangne's young sons, who searchs for meaning his life with the help of a magical band of players who test him in war, leadership and love before he discovers the pleasures of an ordinary life. Pippin runs at the Paper Mill Playhouse through July 23.
