News PHOTO EXCLUSIVE: A Two-Show Day With the Girl of Broadway's Once, Joanna Christie Joanna Christie, who stars as Girl in the Tony Award-winning musical Once, plays her final performance June 15. This winter the British actress documented a two-show day, showing her morning routines, bike ride to work, backstage rituals and more.

"Hellooooo! Welcome to a day in the life of me," says Christie. "I have to admit that every day at the Jacobs Theatre is pretty fun-filled, but two-show days are jam-packed. So welcome to my world!"

The cast also stars Paul Nolan as Guy, with Adam Wesley Brown, Laurel Griggs, David Patrick Kelly, Jillian Lebling, Katrina Lenk, Brandon McGibbon, Anne L. Nathan, Andy Taylor, Carlos Valdes, Erikka Walsh, Paul Whitty and J. Michael Zygo.

Once is directed by John Tiffany (Black Watch), with movement by Steven Hoggett (Black Watch, American Idiot) and music supervision and orchestrations by Martin Lowe (Mamma Mia!). It won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical. Once premiered on Broadway in March 2012 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Once continues its West End run at the Phoenix Theatre, where it opened in April. The musical launched a U.S. national tour earlier this fall.

The production has set and costume design by Tony Award winner Bob Crowley (The Coast of Utopia, Mary Poppins). Lighting design is by Tony winner Natasha Katz (Aida, The Coast of Utopia), and sound design is by Clive Goodwin.
