News Pics! See Meryl Streep, Alan Cumming, Cherry Jones, Max Von Essen Honor Christine Baranski at MTC Gala Manhattan Theatre Club's fall benefit celebrated Tony and Emmy winner Christine Baranski. The Nov. 2 event attracted a host of friends and colleagues including "Into the Woods" co-star Meryl Streep, Julianna Margulies, Alan Cumming and Nathan Lane.

The evening also featured appearances by Walter Bobbie, Cherry Jones, Rob Marshall, Paul Rudnick, Max von Essen and more.

The benefit took place at 583 Park Ave., and was directed and conceived by Richard Maltby, Jr. (Ain’t Misbehavin’). The creative team included John Lee Beatty, Ben Stanton, Dan Gerhard, Eric Svejcar and Todd Cross.

Baranski, who made her Broadway debut in the Tom Stoppard hit The Real Thing, is a longtime MTC collaborator and board member; having been associated with the theatre since her performance in the 1982 production of Sally and Marsha. She has since been featured in the MTC stagings of Regrets Only; The Loman Family Picnic; Lips Together, Teeth Apart; and It’s Only a Play. She currently stars in "The Good Wife."
