Written by Joe Godfrey and directed by Mark Cannistraro, the play casts a contemporary spin on the classic holiday tale and concerns the story of wealthy and prominent interior designer Ebenezer "Ben" Scrooge, his overworked assistant Bob and Bob's partner Tim, an East Village office temp who is HIV positive. When Ben refuses to donate to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, he is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past (Marilyn Monroe), Present (a black drag queen) and Future.
