News Pinter's The Caretaker Opens at Berkshire Theatre Festival May 24 Harold Pinter's menacing drama The Caretaker, featuring Jonathan Epstein, James Barry and Tommy Schrider, officially opens at the Berkshire Theatre Festival May 24.

Previews began May 22 for the Pinter play that centers on the fragile relationship between two brothers – Mick (Barry) and Aston (Schrider) – whose world is disrupted when a homeless man named Davies (Epstein) enters their lives.

Eric Hill directs the first production of the Berkshire Festival's 80th anniversary season. The Caretaker will play through June 28.

Designing the dark and cluttered setting is scenic designer Jonathan Wentz; the creative team also features costume designer Yoshinori Tanokura, lighting designer Matthew E. Adelson and composer and sound designer J. Hagenbuckle.

Upcoming at the Berkshire Theatre Festival: Jayne Atkinson and Michel Gill in George Bernard Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession on the BFT Main Stage beginning June 17.
