Artistic director Michael Kahn announced the revision to the 2010-2011 on June 8. Kahn will direct Old Times at the Lansburgh Theatre May 17–July 3, 2011.

Due to scheduling conflicts, Patrick Page is unable to perform as part of STC's upcoming season. The titular role in Enrico IV was chosen by Kahn specifically for Page and both hope to include the play in a future season.

About Old Times, Kahn said in a statement, "I have wanted to produce this play for many years. When I saw Holly accept her award for Best Actress at the Helen Hayes Awards, I knew Old Times was the play for her. I believe that Pinter's work belongs in a theatre devoted to the classics because of his brilliant use of language."

This will mark the STC debut of Twyford. Old Times, which was first produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1971, will be the first time STC produces a Harold Pinter play.

In it, according to STC, "Memory and reality collide in Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter's nostalgic and haunting play as three friends recall their relationship from 20 years prior. What do their memories tell us and which interpretation of the past do we believe?
