Warlow starred in the original Australian productions of The Phantom of the Opera, The Secret Garden and Les Misérables. Other notable roles Down Under include Sky in Guys and Dolls, Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, Warbucks in Annie and Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady.
He has appeared on the operatic stage as Gabriel Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus, Papageno in The Magic Flute, Captain Corcoran in H.M.S. Pinafore and Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Along with John Farnham and Olivia Newton-John, Warlow headlined "The Main Event" concert tour, which was released on CD and DVD. He may be heard in the lead roles on the two-disc Jekyll & Hyde concept album and as Enjolras on the Les Misérables Complete Symphonic Recording.
Warlow's solo releases include Best of Act One, Midnight Dreaming, Back in the Swing, On the Boards and Centre Stage. He is set to reprise his role as Warbucks in Annie at Sydney's Lyric Theatre this winter.

| When did you first fall in love with the performing arts? | I can remember singing when I was four years old. From five or six I loved the idea of performing. |
| Favorite or most memorable onstage role as a child/teenager: | Playing the title role of Man of La Mancha with the Arcadians Theatre Group in Wollongong when I was 18. |
| Moment you knew you wanted to perform for a living: | When I began at the Conservatorium, I realised it would be a career. |
| Favorite pre-/post-show meal: | I enjoy a red meat meal before a show. |
| Pre-show rituals or warm-ups: | I start to develop my character as I sit at the mirror and put on my makeup while I do my vocal exercises. |
| Worst flubbed line/missed cue/onstage mishap: | In 1990 I slipped and got my foot caught on stage during a performance of The Phantom of the Opera and couldn’t move. I did the whole scene from that position! |

| Your single most moving or memorable moment onstage: | When I was 18 years old in Wollongong and played Quixote for the first time in Man of La Mancha. On opening night I got a standing ovation, the first ovation I had received. I was so overwhelmed I burst into tears. |
