He has appeared onstage in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Public Theater), The Stendhal Syndrome (Primary Stages), The Floating Island Plays (Mark Taper Forum) and When It’s Cocktail Time in Cuba (Cherry Lane Theatre).

Screen work includes "The A-Team," "Che," "American Gangster," "War of the Worlds," "Bad Boys II," "Traffic," "Runaway Bride," "The Sopranos," "Sex and the City," "Fringe," "Seinfeld" and "Law & Order: SVU."

Vazquez is co-artistic director and founding member of the LAByrinth Theater Company.
