Monday, January 11

8 PM: Origin 1st Irish Theatre Festival: Mustard
Eva O’Connor’s one-person play about heartbreak, madness, and how condiments are the ultimate coping mechanism opens the 13th annual Origin 1st Irish Theatre Festival. The production, which premiered at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe, is produced by Fishamble Theatre.

Tuesday, January 12

Place/Settings: Berkeley
Ten writers, including Tony Award nominee Sarah Ruhl (In the Next Room) and Tony winner Itamar Moses (The Band's Visit)—each with deep ties to Berkeley—have all crafted a story around a place or a setting within the City of Berkeley that is significant to them. The audio stories release weekly beginning January 12.

Wednesday, January 13

3 PM: Origin 1st Irish Theatre Festival: The Gifts You Gave to the Dark
This play by Darren Murphy was written specifically for digital media in reaction to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis and premiered digitally with Irish Rep this May. It tells the story of Tom "confined to his bed in Belfast with COVID-19 and unable to visit his mother, Rose, who is dying in Dublin."

6:30 PM: MasterVoices: Myths and Hymns
The central project of MasterVoices’ 2020–2021 season is a virtual rollout of Adam Guettel’s theatrical song cycle Myths and Hymns in an online staging conceived by Ted Sperling. Featured artists in the series are Renée Fleming, Annie Golden, Joshua Henry, Capathia Jenkins, Norm Lewis, Jose Llana, Kelli O'Hara, Elizabeth Stanley, and more. Flight, the first of four chapters, releases January 13.

Thursday, January 14

8 PM: Playbill Social Selects' The ShowBiz Quiz
Challenge yourself with The ShowBiz Quiz, where Broadway and trivia combine into the most feverous fun online. Play seven rounds of trivia, with prizes and surprises around each corner.

8 PM: Turning the Page: LCT Artists Read Their Own Poetry and Prose
Lincoln Center Theater continues its LCT Spotlight series with a number of artists who will read their own nontheatrical work, including playwrights David Adjmi, Ayad Akhtar, Sarah Ruhl and James Lapine, director Jack O'Brien, and performer Andrew Rannells.

Friday, January 15

7 PM: Blue Ridge
The Abby Rosebrock play debuted in 2019 at Atlantic Theatre Company starring Tony Award nominee Marin Ireland (Reasons To Be Pretty), Kyle Beltran (In the Heights), Peter Mark Kendall (Six Degrees of Separation), Nicole Lewis (Rent), Kristolyn Lloyd (Dear Evan Hansen), and Chris Stack, who all return for Play-PerView's streamed reading, along with director Taibi Magar.

  • Leave the Light On U.K. streaming concert series features a line-up comprising Lauren Byrne, Lauren Drew, Chelsea Halfpenny, David Hunter, Rachel John, Lucie Jones, Rob Madge, Tim Mahendran, Nicholas McLean and Billy Nevers. The daily series streams at 2:30 PM ET.
  • Ordinary Days, the small-cast musical from composer-lyricist Adam Gwon, will be available on demand from January 14–17 from Pittsburgh Playhouse, conceived by director Dave Solomon and Jason Ardizzone-West.
