New to the chart were guitarist Bill Frisell's East West, a live album recorded on both coasts, at number six; Def Jazz, a compilation of jazz interpretations of hip-hop classics, at number nine; guitarist Earl Klugh's Naked Guitar at number 12; and saxophonist Tim Ries' The Rolling Stones project at number 17.
