News Primary Stages Announces Final Play of 2015-16 Slate Primary Stages has announced that the final production of its 2015-16 season will by the New York premiere of Perfect Arrangement by Topher Payne, to be directed by Michael Barakiva.

Payne's newest work is a 1950's-set comedy about two families living their life almost as perfectly as a sitcom - until their deepest secret is revealed. "The worlds of 'I Love Lucy' and Edward R. Murrow clash in hilarious, ironic, and genuinely moving ways. Long before Stonewall, nothing is as it seems..." state press notes. Performances will begin this fall. Dates of production are to be announced.

Primary Stages also announced the directors set to helm the new season's works. Among them are Liesl Tommy, who recently staged a highly contemporary reimagining of Les Miz in Dallas and the new John Kander musical Kid Victory, Jo Bonney (Father Comes Home From the Wars) and Kip Fagan (Grand Concourse).

For the 31st season, the award-winning company will present:
