The cast of Priscilla will perform "We Belong," and McDonald will offer "You'll Never Walk Alone."
The opening ceremony will begin at 9 AM at the stage next to Sheep Meadow. The walk will follow at 10 AM.
Other guests scheduled to be on hand at the AIDS Walk include "Modern Family" stars Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Furgeson and Eric Stonestreet; "Glee" Coach Beiste, Dot-Marie Jones; Lee Pace (The Normal Heart); Conchata Ferrell (“Two and a Half Men”); Mondo Guerra and Jack Mackenroth (“Project Runway”); Laura Innes (“The Event”); Nyambi Nyambi (“Mike & Molly”); Mike Ruiz (“The A-List”); Matt Bomer (“White Collar”); and CBS 2 news anchors Mary Calvi, Don Dahler, Maurice DuBois, Rob Morrison, Dana Tyler and weathercaster Elise Finch.
More than 45,000 participants are expected to attend the walk that benefits GMHC and 41 other local AIDS service organizations that provide food, housing, medical care and much more to people living with HIV/AIDS, as well as vital prevention work that reaches hundreds of thousands throughout the tri-state area.
Since 1986, AIDS Walk New York has raised more than $116 million for HIV programs and services in the tri-state area, and has grown into the largest AIDS fundraising event in the world.
