News Producer David Binder to Be Honored at P.S. 122 May 2 P.S. 122 will honor theatre producer David Binder at "Live Onstage!," a May 2 benefit performance and celebration.

The event will be held at Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street in Manhattan) and will be hosted by performers Lisa Kron and Marga Gomez. Tony Award-winning actress Phylicia Rashad will present the award. Rashad won a Tony Award for her performance in Raisin in the Sun, which Binder produced.   Binder's other credits as a producer include Hedwig and the Angry Inch and De La Guarda, which both had long runs Off-Broadway.

Last season, Binder's revival of Raisin, starring Sean Combs, was one of the solid commercial hits of the Broadway season.

He is currently working with the Donmar Warehouse to produce a West End revival of Guys and Dolls starring Ewan McGregor.
