News Producers Co-Stars to Sing National Anthem Sept. 13 Brad Oscar and Hunter Foster, who currently co-star in The Producers, are set to sing the National Anthem Sept. 13.

The Producers duo will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the New York Mets/Atlanta Braves game at 5:06 PM. The Fox Sports station will broadcast the event live from Shea Stadium. Brad Oscar created the role of Franz Liebkind in the Broadway production of The Producers, earning a Tony Award nomination for his performance. He later succeeded Nathan Lane in the role of Max Bialystock, playing that part in the show's national tour and, currently, again on Broadway. Oscar made his Broadway debut in Aspects of Love and also appeared in Jekyll & Hyde, Forbidden Broadway, the City Center Encores! production of Do Re Mi and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Hunter Foster, now starring as Leo Bloom in The Producers, received a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance By a Leading Actor in a Musical for his work in Little Shop of Horrors. His previous Broadway credits include Bobby Strong in Urinetown; Footloose; Grease!; and Les Misérables, and he also took part in the concert presentation of Alan Menken and Tim Rice's King David. Foster was seen in the national tours of Martin Guerre and Cats as well as the Paper Mill production of Children of Eden. Also a writer, he penned the book for the musical Summer of '42, which was mounted at the Variety Arts Theatre.
