Harrah's Atlantic City will host the Mel Brooks-Thomas Meehan musical comedy starting Aug. 29, for a run through Oct. 14.
Prices for the production range $40-$70, and tickets can be snagged through Ticketmaster at (800) 736-1420 or Ticketmaster.com.
Show times will be Friday & Saturday at 9 PM; Sunday, Tuesday-Thursday at 8 PM; Saturday at 4 PM; and Sunday at 3 PM. Mondays are dark.
The musical directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman (with songs by Brooks and libretto by Brooks and Meehan) won more Tony Awards than any show in Broadway history. In the musical corrupt producers set out to over-finance a flop that turns out to be a hit — famously called Springtime for Hitler.
The non-Equity A.C. version is the 90-minute cutting of the show, just like in Vegas, where the sitdown is trimmed to an intermissionless dessert. Paris Las Vegas, a Harrah's Entertainment resort, is hosting The Producers. Tony Danza is set to step into the role of Max Bialystock there in August.
