News   Promises, Promises to Host "Turkey Lurkey Time" Holiday Events
It's "Turkey Lurkey Time" again, and the folks at Promises, Promises know how to celebrate it.

Cast members Megan Sikora, Cameron Adams and Mayumi Miguel, who lead the "Turkey Lurkey" song-and-dance number that is a highlight of the musical revival's first act, will teach Rob Ashford's choreography for the number on Nov. 8 and 12, 2:30 PM-4:30 PM at STEPS on Broadway (212 Broadway at 74th Street). The dancers will then return to STEPS on Broadway Nov. 14 at 7 PM, along with Promises stage manager Michael J. Passaro and dance captain Sarah O'Gleby, to discuss the audition and rehearsal process, understudying and the choreography, and to share stories about the show's backstage life.

On Nov. 17 from 5:30 PM-7 PM, cast members of Promises, Promises will help the Village Pourhouse (366 West 46th Street) kick off  its annual Turkey Bash with a special "Turkey Lurkey Food Drive." A donation of a canned food item will allow those interested to gain special admission to Village Pourhouse’s upper level to meet and mingle with Promises cast members. All canned food items will be donated to The Food Bank of New York following the event, and all who attend the Food Drive are invited to stay for the Turkey Bash afterwards.

Promises, Promises stars Sean Hayes, Kristin Chenoweth, Molly Shannon and Tony Goldwyn, and is currently running at The Broadway Theatre.
