Scheduled to perform are Tony Award nominee Rob McClure, Joshua Boone, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Julia Murney, Peter Saide, Margo Seibert, Hannah Jane McMurray, Scott Wakefield, with Margot Bassett, Maggie Brothers, Troy Burton, Raphael Sacks, Hana Slevin, Marrick Smith and Hansel Tan. Other Prospect alumni performers joining the bill include David Andrew Anderson, Jennifer Blood, Robby Sharpe, Lucy Sorensen, Anita Vasan and Simone Zamore.
Spring Soirée is held from 6–10:30 PM, with an 8 PM concert performance, and includes a sneak peek at songs from upcoming 2013-14 Prospect productions as well as encore performances from previous Prospect shows.
The evening's line-up of writers includes work by Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, Marisa Michelson and Joshua H. Cohen, Peter Mills, and Ryan Scott Oliver, among others.
Proceeds from the evening benefit Prospect's mission to develop and produce new American musical theater works.
Battery Gardens is located inside New York City's Battery Park (opposite 17 State Street). Tickets for the evening, which includes a cocktail hour, seated dinner, performance and after-party, range from $250-$500.
