News Pump Up the Volume Concert Adds Claybourne Elder, Gideon Glick and Samantha Mathis to Lineup Claybourne Elder, Gideon Glick and original "Pump Up the Volume" film star Samantha Mathis have joined the line-up for a concert presentation of the new musical Pump Up the Volume June 25 at Joe's Pub.

Featuring music by Jeff Thomson (Jawbreaker) and book and lyrics by Jeremy Desmon, the rock musical is based on the 1990 film about a lonely teen who broadcasts a pirate FM radio station from his parents home.

Katie Riegel produces the 9:30 PM concert, which is directed by Dave Solomon.

New to the event are Elder (Bonnie & Clyde), Glick (Spring Awakening), Harris Doran (Hair), Caren Lyn Tackett (Hair)  with a special appearance by Mathis.

Previously announced are Tony nominees Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages, Jekyll & Hyde), Nancy Opel (Memphis, Urinetown), Leslie Odom, Jr. (Leap of Faith), Bryce Ryness (Hair), Sasha Allen (Hair, "Camp"), Andrew C. Call (American Idiot, Glory Days), Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked, "Sabrina the Teenage Witch") and Lucas Steele (Myths and Hymns).

Ensemble members are Stephanie Kababe, Travis Morin, Zal Owen and Jessica Waxman. Aaron Jodoin will lead a four-piece band. For tickets visit JoesPub. Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street.
