The 11th annual conference takes place at their homebase in Waterford, Connecticut.

The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, known for their Playwrights Conference, National Critics Institute and Music Theater Conference, will present yet another of their programs as their Puppetry Conference performs June 15-16. The 11th annual conference takes place at their homebase in Waterford, Connecticut.

This year's festivities will feature the work of guest artist John Farrell. The founder of the award-winning Figures of Speech Theatre will present his Suspension. Also featured will be guest artist and shadow theatre pioneer Larry Reed. His El Californio was created in collaboration with I Made Moja and Wendy Morton of ShadowLight productions and playwright Octavio Solis.The program will also include a slew of artists from Russia and Taiwan.

The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center was founded in 1964 at Waterford, CT. The Center is a breeding ground for theater professionals and students to develop their craft without the pressures of economics. In addition to the aforementioned programs, they also run the Cabaret Symposium, the National Theater Institute and Monte Cristo Cottage, the boyhood home of Nobel Prize-winning playwright, Eugene O’Neill.
