News Raines Will Join Ebersole and Wilson in Night Music; Stokes Mitchell Joins Pops Season Stage and screen star Ron Raines ("The Guiding Light," Broadway's Chicago and Show Boat) will join the previously announced Christine Ebersole and Mary Louise Wilson for concert performances of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's A Little Night Music in June with the Boston Pops.

The June 12-14 concerts at Boston's Symphony Hall will feature the Boston Pops orchestra conducted by Keith Lockhart. The 8 PM concerts will also boast the Tanglewood Music Center Fellows. (Tanglewood will also present this cast in Night Music July 8 at 8:30 PM.)

The 2008 spring Boston Pops schedule will also include a Bernstein Tribute, honoring what would have been the late composer's 90th birthday. Featuring Boston Conservatory dance and vocal soloists in selections from West Side Story, On the Town, Candide and Wonderful Town, the evenings of Leonard Bernstein tunes are scheduled for May 9 and 10 and June 3 and 6.

From May 20-24 stage and screen star Lynn Redgrave — currently appearing in Off-Broadway's Grace — will join Pops Laureate Conductor John Williams for Film Night, which will include movie music from such films as "Jaws," "Star Wars," "Indiana Jones" and the "Harry Potter" series. Redgrave will be on hand to narrate the "Harry Potter Grande Suite."

"Broadway's Leading Man" is the title of the June 17 and 18 concerts that will feature Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell. The former Ragtime and Kiss Me, Kate star, who recently made his sold-out debut at Carnegie Hall, will offer songs from his eclectic repertoire that blends the worlds of Broadway and jazz, including tunes from his Playbill Records CD, "Brian Stokes Mitchell." The two evenings will also feature semifinalists from the Pops' High School Sing-Off.

The season will also include Judy Garland. . .A Life on Stage. The June 28 and 29 concerts, according to the Pops website, is described as such: "The legendary voice of Judy and the symphonic sound of the Boston Pops combine in this remarkable concert event to present her dynamic life in song. Breakthrough technology allows a seamless blend of historic visual footage and film with her own vocals, accompanied by the orchestra playing classic arrangements of her iconic songs."
