Karimloo, who is currently appearing as Valjean in Les Miserables at the West End's Queen's Theatre, is best known for playing the Phantom in both The Phantom of the Opera (including in the 25th anniversary concert last October at the Royal Albert Hall, now released on DVD) and the original London production of Love Never Dies. Born in Iran and brought up in Canada, he has also previously starred in The Phantom of the Opera as Raoul and in Les Miserables as Enjolras (a role he re-created in the 25th anniversary concert of that show at the 02 Arena). His new solo album features new songs like 'Coming Home' and 'Eyes of a Child' as well as songs he has made his own, including 'Music of the Night' from The Phantom of the Opera and 'Til I Hear You Sing' from Love Never Dies.
For the concert tour, he is joined by a band under the direction of David Shrubsole. Ramin – In Concert is presented by Raymond Gubbay Ltd. and BAM Entertainment in association with The Agency Group.
