David Esbjornson (The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia, The Ride Down Mt. Morgan) will stage the 7 PM performance, part of the Revelation Reading Series, at the Theater at St. Clements. Volpone is described as "the classic comedy about greed. Supremely hilarious characters, outrageously mischievous plots. Ben Jonson skewers the 'death tax' debate—centuries before his time."

The cast will feature Murray (Mary Stuart, The Rivals) and Stuhlbarg (The Pillowman, Invention of Love) as well as Craig Baldwin, Ned Eisenberg, Vayu O'Donnell, Kate Roberts, Liv Rooth, David Parick, Rocco Sisto, Robert Stattel, Tony Torn, Rebecca Wisocky and countertenor Shannon Wicks.

In addition to the Revelation Reading, Red Bull will host a special benefit entitled The Running of the Bulls at 6 PM on June 1. The evening will honor philanthropist Heather Randall, as well as Lynn Redgrave, Michael Urie and George Mayer, Jr. The event will also feature the first annual presentation of The Red Bull Theater Matador Awards for Excellence in Classical Theater. The Running of the Bulls will take place at the Home of Allan J. Arffa.

The benefit committee for the event includes F. Murray Abraham, René Auberjonois, Daniel Breaker, Kate Burton, Michael Cerveris, Robert Cuccioli, Michael Emerson, Randy Harrison, Amy Irving, Dana Ivey, Roberta Maxwell, Brian Murray, Laila Robins, Michael Stuhlbarg and Marisa Tomei.

Tickets for Volpone are available by visiting RedBullTheater, or by phoning (212) 352-3101. The Running of the Bulls Benefit tickets are available by phoning (212) 414-5168.

The Theater at St. Clements is located at 423 West 46th Street in Manhattan.
