The play about the famous interviews between David Frost and fallen President Richard Nixon will also be seen in a separate national tour starring Stacy Keach in 2008-09, making the Rep booking a good "get" for the not-for-profit. It will play the Rep Sept. 3-28.

There will be six shows on the Browning Mainstage, three in the Studio Theatre (below the mainstage) and two in the edgier Off-Ramp series at the Grandel Theatre in downtown St. Louis. The Mainstage and Studio are located in the Webster Groves section of St. Louis.

The Off-Ramp series will offer Martin McDonagh's The Lieutenant of Inishmore and Douglas Carter Beane's The Little Dog Laughed.

The Mainstage season includes the Paul Gordon musical, Emma, based on the novel by Jane Austen (in a co-production with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park), directed by Robert Kelley; Steve Murray and Mark Setlock's solo-actor holiday show, This Wonderful Life; Shaw's St. Joan; William Gibson's The Miracle Worker; and another Cincy co-production, Jeffrey Hatcher's adaptation of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, directed by Ed Stern.

The Studio series will be announced in mid-summer. Steven Woolf is artistic director of The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.

The Rep is currently staging the St. Louis premiere of Rabbit Hole.
