News Reprise! Presents Mazzie and Danieley in Concert Aug. 13
Marin Mazzie, who will join the Broadway company of Spamalot on Halloween, and current Curtains star Jason Danieley will perform a one-night-only concert Aug. 13 at the Ford Amphitheatre.

Presented by Reprise! Broadway's Best, the Broadway couple will offer their acclaimed concert act "Opposite You." Concertgoers can expect to hear new works as well as classic tunes by Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen and Stephen Sondheim. Show time is 7:30 PM. A three-time Tony Award nominee for her performances in Kiss Me, Kate; Ragtime; and Passion, Marin Mazzie's other theatrical credits include Into the Woods, Big River, The World Goes 'Round, the City Center Encores! productions of Kismet and Out of this World and Off-Broadway's The Trojan Women: A love Story, where she met husband Jason Danieley. Mazzie also starred in the London production of Kiss Me, Kate, where she earned an Olivier Award nomination for her work. She was also seen in the Actors' Fund of America's concert staging of On the Twentieth Century.

Jason Danieley played Dr. Rey in the Signature Theatre's production of The Highest Yellow. He starred on Broadway as Malcolm MacGregor in The Full Monty, a role he repeated in London. For his Broadway debut in Candide, Danieley received a Theatre World Award and a Drama Desk nomination. His other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Strike Up the Band as well as Off-Broadway runs in Dream True and Floyd Collins.
