The dramedy about a divorced New York firefighter makes its television debut July 21 at 10 PM ET; a repeat broadcast will immediately follow at 11 PM. Check local listings. Leary plays divorced firefighter Tommy Gavin, who must cope with the fears of his job and the new loves of his former wife, played by Andrea Roth. The cast also includes Tony nominee Daniel Sunjata — of Take Me Out fame — as Franco, A Man of No Importance's Steven Pasquale as Sean Garrity with John Scurti as Kenny Lou, Michael Lombardi as Mike Silletti, Jack McGee as Chief Jerry Reilly and James McCaffrey as Jimmy Keefe.
In the premiere episode, entitled "Guts," Leary is haunted by his peers who perished in the events of Sept. 11, 2001. Peter Tolan is billed as co-creator, executive producer, writer and director with Jim Serpico (executive producer), Kerry Orent (producer), Tom Sellitti (associate producer) and Sal Stabile (writer).
