"Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts with the creative team, the full production…originally scheduled to open at The Vineyard in March 2011 has been postponed to the fall of 2011," Vineyard announced Nov. 16. "In addition, the developmental process that would have occurred in November and December of this year, will now take place this spring, culminating in a developmental lab production for Vineyard members."

This revised and reconceived version of the musical by Alan Jay Lerner and Burton Lane has a new book by Peter Parnell with conception and direction by Mayer.

The Vineyard will announce its next 2011 main stage production shortly.
