Directed by Eve Brandstein, the production began previews June 1.

Johnston and Wintersteller play 50-something women who, according to press notes, "have always had a madcap friendship since the early years of punk and the Reagan Administration.  But when three decades of the weekly phone calls stop, a surprise visit finds one of them in chaos, the other in denial and both with secrets."

Nancy Johnston has appeared in leading roles on Broadway in Elf, The Music Man and The Secret Garden. She was in the first national tour of The Producers and Beauty and the Beast. Off-Broadway she starred in Splendora at the American Place Theater, Merrily We Roll Along at the York, Nunsense (with Phyllis Diller) at the Fairbanks and Olympus On My Mind at the Lambs.

Lynne Wintersteller starred on Broadway in the Tony-nominated Rodgers and Hammerstein revue A Grand Night for Singing and garnered a Drama Desk for her work in the Maltby/Shire Off-Broadway revue Closer Than Ever.

The production features sets by Jason Sherwood, costumes by Anne E. Grosz and lighting by Nastassia Jimenez with original music by Roger Murdock.

Performances will continue through June 24. ArcLight is at 152 W. 71st Street.

Show times are Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday at 7 PM, Friday and Saturday at 8 PM, with matinees Saturday at 2 PM and Sunday at 3 PM.

Tickets are $45, $30 during previews and may be purchased online at RevisitingWildfire.com or via telephone at (212) 352-3101.
