Performance artist and dancer Richard Move and playwright-performer Lisa Kron, along with producer David Binder, are developing a new theatre piece based on Move's impersonation of legendary dancer-choreographer Martha Graham, Binder told Playbill On-Line.

Move debuted his Graham tribute in 1996. Then called Martha@Mother (Mother was the name of the space where it was presented), the evening won to Bessie Awards. Since then Move has performed as Graham at the Kennedy Center, Town Hall, Central Park SummerStage, Salzburg Festival, The SpringDance Festival in Holland, Tanzfest /Berlin,Dance Umbrella/ London and the Centre National de la Danse in Paris.

Kron is working with Move on the script. Binder developed and produced Kron's earlier solo piece, 2.5 Minute Ride, which played the Public Theater Off-Broadway.

Move has choreographed work for Mikhail Baryshnikov's White Oak Dance Project and the New York City Ballet.
