News Rob Evan to End Transformations In Jekyll & Hyde Jan. 23, 2000 Rob Evan, current star of Broadway's Jekyll & Hyde, will end his stint as the good doctor and his evil alter ego Jan. 23, 2000. He will have played the role over 600 times in his association with the Frank Wildhorn musical thriller, beginning as an alternate to Robert Cuccioli in the show's pre-Broadway tour.

Rob Evan, current star of Broadway's Jekyll & Hyde, will end his stint as the good doctor and his evil alter ego Jan. 23, 2000. He will have played the role over 600 times in his association with the Frank Wildhorn musical thriller, beginning as an alternate to Robert Cuccioli in the show's pre-Broadway tour.

Evan's replacement has not yet been cast. His alternate is Joseph Mahowald.

Evan also appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables, performing the lead role of Jean Valjean. On the road, he toured with Les Miz, Jekyll & Hyde, Hot Mikado, and Hello, Dolly!. His voice can be heard on The Civil War and Zorro concept recordings, as well as his own solo album, "Moment."
