News Robin De Jesus Brings Crush to Crushed, a Solo Show About Love, to Orlando Feb. 5-6 Two-time Tony Award nominee Robin De Jesus, who will be seen in The York Theatre Company's upcoming production of Malpractice Makes Perfect, brings his solo show Crush to Crushed — an evening of pop, rock, Spanish, soul and Broadway music centered around the word love — to Orlando Feb. 5-6.

Directed by Yvette Kojic with musical direction by Michael J. Moritz Jr., concerts are offered at 8 PM at The Mezz, above downtown nightclub The Abbey. Crush to Crushed was previously seen at 54 Below in November 2013. 

Here's how the evening is billed: "Love's amazing, love sucks, we all want it and rarely do we feel like we get enough. Two time Tony Award nominee Robin De Jesus (In the Heights, La Cage aux Folles, Rent) discusses crushes, loves, break ups, hook ups, sex ed and some of his mother's best kept secrets about lust. Be prepared for lots of tangents, non-sequiturs, Adderall and of course laughs."

De Jesus received Tony nominations for his work in In the Heights and La Cage aux Folles. He has also been seen on Broadway in Rent and Off-Broadway in Patti Issues, among others.
