Obie winner Rosto Sisto and Tony nominee Enid Graham will be the stars of Primary Stages upcoming stage production of Henry James' classic ghost story The Turn of the Screw. Playwright Jeffrey Hatcher has adapted the work, which will begin previews March 10, open March 24 and close April 16.

The towering Rocco Sisto is a familiar face to both Uptown and Downtown audiences. His many and varied credits include Mad Forest at Manhattan Theatre Club, The Illusion at CSC, Demonology at Playwrights Horizons and A Month in the Country at the Roundabout Theatre Company. He won the Obie for his performance in Quills at New York Theatre Workshop.

Graham, meanwhile, made a splash in last spring's short-lived Broadway production of Honour, starring opposite Jane Alexander. Graham earned a Tony nomination for her performance.

Hatcher's work has been seen in New York at Primary Stages (Scotland Road) and Manhattan Theatre Club (Three Viewings). Turn of the Screw, like all of Hatcher's plays, has seen a lot of regional action, receiving performances in Minneapolis, Seattle, Cincinnati and Atlanta. The James novel tells of a young woman who comes to Bly Manor to become the governess of two children. There, she is haunted by the house's former governess and her lover, and endeavors to protect the two orphans from the ghosts' fiendish plans.

Hatcher is also reportedly working on a new play about the life of Frank Lloyd Wright, to be presented sometime in the future at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre. Melia Bensussen, who piloted last season's Scotland Road, will direct.
