The 7 PM concert is held on Rockwood's Stage 3.

According to press notes, "Jarvis was turned on to Brel in college. It opened his eyes to not only a new way of viewing theatre, but a new way of viewing humanity. The concert is 13 of Jacques Brel's most socially and politically charged songs woven together with quotes from a series of interviews with Brel himself. Interviews spanning 1964 to 1971. This piece means to focus on the man’s limitless faith in the dignity of the human race."

Jarvis has played Brel at Rockwood Music Hall and 54 Below. It is a 60-minute cabaret style concert with a three-piece band consisting of piano, drums and upright bass. Watch clips from the show here.

Music was arranged and orchestrated by Jonathan Ivie, and the band features LaVondo Thomas, Ivie and T-Bone Motta.

Jarvis, known for creating the role of Lonny the narrator in Rock of Ages, has also been see on Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof and is the co-creator and director of the web-turned-Hulu series "it could be worse." For more information and tickets, click here.
