During Hurricane Jeanne, a rubber seal was ripped from the roof of the center's Cohen Pavilion, allowing water to enter and damaging offices on the building's third floor. Staffers were able to return to work on September 29, but repairs are still ongoing. Several children's performances were canceled because of the construction.
Dreyfoos Hall, the venue's main concert hall, suffered flood damage from Hurricane Frances, forcing the cancellation of several performances of a touring production of Cats in mid September.
The Kravis Center's 13th season opens on October 7 with a performance by folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary.
