News Rory O'Malley, Shaina Taub and More Join Lineup for Broadway Stands Up for Freedom Benefit Tony Award nominee Rory O'Malley (The Book of Mormon) and Natasha & Pierre & The Great Comet of 1912 cast member Shaina Taub have joined the July 22 benefit concert Broadway Stands Up for Freedom at the Skirball Center.

Also newly added are Georgi James (Annie), Todd Buonopane ("30 Rock") and Grace Capeless (Godspell). Susan Blackwell ([title of show]) will host the 7:30 PM concert. Georgia Stitt ("This Ordinary Thursday") will musical direct. Daniel Goldstein (Godspell) will direct the event. The evening will also feature Randy Graff (City of Angels), Tonya Pinkins (Caroline, or Change), Carrie Manolakos (Mamma Mia!), Celia Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher), Kate Baldwin (Big Fish), Anthony Rapp (Rent), Julie Halston (Anything Goes), Nellie McKay (Old Hats), Lisa Kron (Well), Zachary Prince (Baby, It's You), Liana Stampur and Clinton Curtis.

All proceeds benefit the NYCLU's youth programming, including work for LGBT teenagers; the Teen Health Initiative, which educates teenagers on their rights to access health care in New York City; and its work to stop overly aggressive policing and military recruiting in the city’s public schools.
