We've all heard about overbearing stage mothers who attempt to live vicariously through their children. On April 10, NY's Roundabout Theatre Company urges all would-be overbearing "stage dog owners" to bring their canines out to audition for the role of "Thunder" in Richard Greenberg's Hurrah at Last .

The audition will be held at 11 AM at The Roundabout's Criterion Center home (1530 Broadway at 45th Street), although the production will take place at Off-Broadway's Gramercy Theatre. The casting director is searching for a "very large and energetic dog," though all dogs are invited to audition. The first thirty owners who show at the audition (with dog in tow) will receive a complementary pair of tickets for the production.

Previews for the production begin May 13.

Owners wishing to register for the audition should call "Bubbles" at (212) 575-3030 x236.
