RTC, under the artistic direction of Todd Haimes, announced Jan. 16 that Stoppard's Indian Ink will be directed by Perloff (artistic director of A.C.T.) and begin performances in September 2014 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold & Miriam Steinberg Centre for Theatre.

Here's how the work is billed: "Set on two different continents and in two different eras, Indian Ink follows free-spirited English poet Flora Crewe on her travels through India in the 1930s, where her intricate relationship with an Indian artist unfurls against the backdrop of a country seeking its independence. Fifty years later, in 1980s England, her younger sister Eleanor tries to preserve the legacy of Flora's controversial career. Little by little, Flora’s mysterious past is revealed, as is the surprising story of two people whose connection lives on through art. An evocative portrait of love and loss, Indian Ink movingly explores how the creative spirit can bring us together in the most unexpected ways."

The play joins Stoppard's The Real Thing, starring Ewan McGregor and directed by Sam Gold, which will also play Roundabout's 2014-15 season and begin performances Oct. 2 at Broadway's American Airlines Theatre.

Roundabout has previously presented Stoppard's The Real Inspector Hound and The Fifteen Minute Hamlet.

In winter 2015, Roundabout will present a new Broadway production of Michael Frayn's Noises Off, which will be directed by Jeremy Herrin (Broadway debut, U.K. premiere of David Hare's The Vertical Hour) and begin previews in January 2015 at the American Airlines Theatre. This will be a limited engagement, and the full cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.

According to Roundabout, "Full of shocking surprises and gut-busting humor, Noises Off is the classic show-within-a-show. The Opening Night performance of the farce Nothing On is just hours away, and as the cast stumbles through their final dress rehearsal, things couldn't be going any worse. With lines being forgotten, love triangles unraveling and sardines flying everywhere, it's complete pandemonium... and we haven’t even reached intermission! Can the cast pull their act together on the stage even if they can't behind the scenes?"

Noises Off premiered on Broadway in 1983 and was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play. The original production ran over 550 performances. It was last revived on Broadway in 2001.
