In a recent statement producer Barry Weissler said, "What an incredible year of milestones this has been. We started off in January with Chicago Fan Day, which marked the first time in Broadway history that a show gave away an entire performance to its fans for free. In March, we broke the record to become the fifth-longest running show in Broadway history. Then in August, we surpassed A Chorus Line to become the fourth longest-running, and in that same moment we became the longest-running American show in Broadway history. Now in November, we celebrate 15 years. I can't wait to see what December brings."

The cast currently features "Seinfeld" and "Family Feud" star John O'Hurley as Billy Flynn, two-time Tony Award nominee and Chicago veteran Charlotte d'Amboise as Roxie Hart, Bahiyah Hibah (The Color Purple, The Little Mermaid, Pal Joey, Memphis) as Velma Kelly, Chris Sullivan as Amos Hart, Carol Woods as Matron "Mama" Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

The ensemble comprises Donna Marie Asbury, Nili Bassman, Nicoel Bridgewater, Dylis Croman, Michael Cusumano, Jennifer Dunne, James Harkness, David Kent, J. Leoffelholz, Melissa Rae Mahon, Sharon Moore, Peter Nelson, Jill Nicklaus, Brian O'Brien, Jason Patrick Sands, Brian Spitulnik, Ryan Worsing and Adam Zotovich.

The revival of Chicago began life as one of the three annual Encores! presentations offered by City Center. The musical opened on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in Nov. 1996 where it remained through February 1997. The musical transferred to the Shubert Theatre on Feb. 11, 1997, and played that house through Jan. 26, 2003. The revival reopened at the Ambassador Theatre, its current home, on Jan. 29, 2003.

Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse. The Ambassador Theatre is located at 219 West 49th Street. Visit www.ChicagoTheMusical.com for more information.
