News Rudetsky and Nevins to Host Scream Out Louise! at Joe's Pub. Scream Out Louise! An Evening of Broadway Standards Rocked Out is the title of an upcoming benefit concert for Family First Nights, a charity that raises funds for inner-city children and their families to attend Broadway shows.

The March 26, 2007, concert at Joe's Pub will be hosted by Seth Rudetsky and Scott Nevins. Broadway performers, to be announced at a later date, will perform classic show tunes with a "funk and soul band." In fact, a press release states, "These ain't your mother's ballads!" Show time is 7 PM. Creator and host of Seth's Broadway Chatterbox, Seth Rudetsky has served as a pit pianist and/or conductor for such Broadway shows as 42nd Street, The Full Monty, The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia! and The Producers. He also conceived the idea for the recent all-star The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas concert to benefit the Actors' Fund of America as well as the five previous benefit concerts, Hair, Chess, Funny Girl, On the Twentieth Century and Dreamgirls. Rudetsky was a member of the comedy writing team for "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" for two years, and his awards include the Duplex's Stars of Tomorrow, the Backstage Bistro and the Funniest Gay Male in New York. He was also the author and star of the recent one man, GLAAD nominated show Rhapsody in Seth, and his new tome — "The Q Guide to Broadway" — was just published by Alyson Books. Rudetsky has been seen on "Law & Order" and "All My Children" and will star in the Gallery Players' upcoming production of Torch Song Trilogy.

Scott Nevins has hosted "Scott Nevins Presents" and "The Scott Nevins Variety Hour" as well as fundraisers for BC/EFA, The Matthew Shepard Foundation, PFLAG and God's Love We Deliver. He regularly fills in on the Sirius Satellite Radio program "The John McMullen Show" and has been seen on the Style Network, Logo, Fuse TV and MNN Television. His one-man show, Celebutant: Don't You Know Who I Think I Am?, will play the Laurie Beechman Theatre Nov. 27, Dec. 1 and 2.
