Classic Arts News San Francisco Ballet Names Principal Dancer San Francisco Ballet has appointed Claire Pascal a principal dancer, the company announced.
Born in Tabes, France, Pascal trained there and at Conservatoire Superieur de Danse et de Musique in Lyon. She danced with the Grand Th_ê¢tre de Geneve from 2000 to 20003 and with Maggio Danza in Florence starting in 2003.

With the latter company, she appeared in George Balanchine's Serenade and Concerto Barocco, William Forsythe's The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, and John Neumeier's Rite of Spring.
