Tony Award nominee Saycon Sengbloh and Broadway star Christopher J. Hanke will be special guests for the June 12 post-Tonys edition of the live Broadway talk show Stage Fright at Therapy lounge in New York.
Segbloh, who won a Drama Desk Award and was Tony-nominated for her performance in Eclipsed, has appeared in six other Broadway shows including Fela!, Hair, and as standby for Elphaba in Wicked. She can also be seen on the sixth season ABC’s Scandal as Angela Webster.
Hanke has appeared in four Broadway productions including the 2011 revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (as Bud Frump), and in the original run of Rent (replacing in the role of Mark Cohen).
Stage Fright is hosted by drag personality and comedian Marti Gould Cummings with musical direction by Bradford Proctor. Guests are interviewed, do a performance, then play a game with the audience.
Stage Fright is performed every Monday at 10 PM at Therapy, located at 348 West 52nd Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. Tickets can be ordered by clicking here.
