News SCR Announces Two New Executive Staff Managers South Coast Repertory in Cosa Mesa, CA, has promoted Nicki Genovese to Business Director and hired Tom Aberger as Production Manager. Aberger joins SCR from the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia. Genovese has served as business manager since the fall of 1999, coming to SCR from the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival in Allentown.

South Coast Repertory in Cosa Mesa, CA, has promoted Nicki Genovese to Business Director and hired Tom Aberger as Production Manager. Aberger joins SCR from the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia. Genovese has served as business manager since the fall of 1999, coming to SCR from the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival in Allentown.Prior to her two years there, Genovese spent a year with the American Stage Company in Teaneck, New Jersey. As business director she will supervise twelve full-time staff and fourteen part-time staff. She oversees MIS, front of house, operations, accounting and the general business functions of the theatre, and is responsible for contracting actors and designers. She is also staff liaison to the finance committee of the Board of Trustees.

Aberger oversees thirty full-time staff and numerous part-time staff in SCR's technical departments--set, costumes, props, sound, electric and stage management. He creates and supervises set production budgets and interfaces with the various directors and designers for the thirteen annual stage productions as well as a touring show for schools, several Youth Theatre projects, fund-raising events and the Pacific Playwrights Festival in June.
