Directed by Josh Hecht, the 7 PM free performance features Aaron Michael Davies, Harris Doran, Sean Dugan (Next Fall), Shannon Esper, Maggie Lacey (Dividing the Estate) and Jesse Pennington.

In the play, according to Rising Phoenix Rep, "Jamie and Austin, best friends since college, open their laptops like Pandora’s box and peer into the seductive world of no-strings-attached sex. But is any encounter ever really casual?"

The Cino Nights series is a year-and-a-half-long series of 19 world-premiere plays commissioned by Rising Phoenix Rep to be performed in the intimate basement space of downtown restaurant Jimmy's No. 43. Performances in the series will continue through June 2012.

Upcoming playwrights featured in the series include Daniel Talbott (June 10) and Cusi Cram (June 17).

Rising Phoenix Rep artistic director Talbott describes the series as "a place to tap into the raw, inspired, inventive, and pioneering work of the Caffe Cino, where the love of theatre and new plays was joined with a scrappy, do-it-yourself work ethic." All shows are rehearsed for a week and then fully mounted and produced for one-night-only.

Seventh Street Small Stage is located at 43 East Seventh Street. For more information and to make a reservation, call (212) 946-5198 or visit RisingPhoenixRep.org.
