News Seattle Shakespeare Company to Produce Much Ado and Othello in Summer The Seattle Shakespeare Company will stage free outdoor productions of Much Ado About Nothing and Othello beginning in July.

Presented July 8-Aug. 1, the Wooden O productions will tour to parks across the Seattle area. A full schedule will be announced shortly. Sheila Daniels will stage Much Ado About Nothing, which will feature husband and wife actors Hans Altwies and Amy Thone as Benedick and Beatrice.

Othello, directed by Vanessa Miller, will star George Mount as Iago and Chiara Motely as Desdemona.

Wooden O was founded in 1994, and after years of successful programming, merged with Seattle Shakespeare Company in 2008.
