The first evening of TeatroStageFest offers musical performances from Marroquín (at 7:30 PM) and Grammy nominee Sanabria (at 9:30 PM). Additional Joe's Pub performances include the INTAR presentation of Marga Gomez & Carmelita Tropicana (June 9 at 9:30 PM).
Produced by the Latino International Theater Festival of New York, the two-week festival represents artists from New York, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Spain. TeatroStageFest features citywide programming in Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx.

In addition to the eight full-length productions featured in the festival, TeatroStageFest has partnered with the New York Times' TimesTalks series. The June 9 panel discussion will feature John Leguizamo (Sexaholic), Marroquín (Chicago), Graciela Daniele (Once on this Island), Lin-Manuel Miranda (In The Heights) and Eugenio Derbez (Latinologues).
The festival also features two panel discussions on June 7 and 14 – Visiones: From the Page to the Stage – with artists represented in the festival, as well as the Young Playwrights Latino Challenge 2008 Awards Ceremony, presented by LABrynth Theater Company.
