News Secret Garden Star Offers Solo Concert June 27 Alison Fraser, last on Broadway in a Tony-nominated turn in The Secret Garden, will offer a solo concert in Manhattan June 27.

Fraser will take to the intimate stage of Joe's Pub performing songs from her theatrical career as well as tunes from her two solo recordings, "New York Romance" and "Men in My Life." The evening will also include several tunes penned by her late husband, the acclaimed composer Rusty Magee. Show time is 9:30 PM. Alison Fraser received Tony nominations for her performances in Romance/Romance and The Secret Garden, and her other Broadway credits include The Mystery of Edwin Drood and the 1996 revival of Tartuffe. She created the role of Trina in William Finn's In Trousers and March of the Falsettos and reprised that role in the anniversary concert for Playwrights Horizons. Her other Off-Broadway credits include roles in Up Against It, The Green Heart, Beehive and Swingtime Canteen. Fraser most recently starred in the George Street Playhouse's production of Lips Together, Teeth Apart.
