News Sedaris, Gallagher, White Read "Selected Shorts" in 2003 Some of New York's leading theatre actors will lend their resonant voices to the 2003 line-up of National Public Radio's popular series, "Selected Shorts."

"Selected Shorts" is recorded live at Manhattan's Symphony Space. In the program, one to three short stories are read aloud on stage before an audience. Among the dates set up for 2003 are:

Jan. 15: Harris Yulin and John Shea reading the work of Al Hirschfeld and Sam Shepherd
March 12: Joe Morton and Brian Murray reading the work of Angela Carter, R.K. Narayan and Paul Bowles
March 26: Stephen Lang, Paul Hecht and Hope Davis reading the work of Ana Maria Shua, Kevin Brockmeier and Elizabeth McKenzie
May 7: Lillias White reading the work of Ravi Howard, David Haynes and Jewell Parker Rhodes
May 14: Amy Sedaris, Stephen Colbert and Paul Dinello reading from their book "Wigfield"
May 21: Peter Gallagher reading the work of Karen Shepherd, Carlos Fuentes and Lewis Robinson
